Yes it is been long since I updated this blog. I have quite a few things in hand:
1. Studying! Finals is coming in May and I have lots of study. Sigh.. IKR
2. Dramas! Even though finals is coming, but drama is still a girl's BEST FRIEND. So, I am here to share one with you guys.
This drama is aired in both China and Taiwan in 2013. (SORRY LAH, I OUTDATED.. LOL) And there is actors who I love super lot from Taiwan, HK and China.
兰陵王(Lan Ling Wang)
History:
This story is about Lan Ling Wang, Gao Changgong, fourth son of Gao Cheng, elder brother of the first emperor of Northen Qi. His distinction in battles and kindness and bravery made him widely loved and admired by the people of his country. According to legend, he is pretty like woman but he wore a mask to appear scary his enemies
The most famous battle that he won that he only led 500 men and fought the army of Northern Zhou, who has 100,000 soldiers. And his soldiers composed song and dance for him , Prince Lanling in Battle (兰陵王入阵曲）
After the death of the emperor, Gao Wei (高纬), Gao Changgon's cousin, ascended the throne. Gao Wei is jealous of Gao Chang Gong's good reputation, influence over the army and the people. Gao Changgong always pretend to be sick to stay away from the country affairs. But no matter how low profit he goes, the emperor is still worried and then decided to send him a cup of poisonous wine and ended his life.
In this drama:
It is very closed to the history. However, this time, some new characters was thrown in.
Gao Changgong accidently went into a village of Wu Xian, people who practice divination, prayer, sacrifice in China Tradition and met the descendent of WuXian, Yang Xue Wu, also known as Tian Nv. Both of them miracle-ly fell in love with each other and stayed with each other despite Yang Xue Wu grandma's disapproval.
It is also believed that anyone who got the descendent of WuXian, will get the world. Gao Wei was jealous of Gao Changgong's reputation and the good name, so he decided to make Gao Changgong die via drinking poisonous wine. But surprisingly, Gao Changgong got to revive back from his dead and continue to save his people by acting as a mysterious man.
Let me now introduce the MAIN CHARACTERS:
Lan Ling Wang, Actor: Feng Shao Feng (冯绍峰）
I super love his acting and his smile. He is super sunshine in his smile!! AHH.. faint..
The interaction between him and Yang Xue Wu is really good and they really do look good together!
In this drama, Lan Ling Wang is deeply attracted by Yang Xue Wu's wisdom, kindness and her warmth and promised to guard her forever. But due to the jealousy of the Gao Wei, it made this the biggest challenge of his life.
Yang Xue Wu, Actress: Lin Yi Chen Ariel.
She is one of my favourite Taiwan female actress. Her smile and her genuine is really very attractive (to me at least).
In the show, she is the Tian Nv, descendent of Wu Xian. In order to get her out of the trouble, her gramdma deliberately not let her learn the divination ability, and try to change he fate with Lan Ling Wang. However, she still get involved unknowingly. The kind Xue Wu tries to do whatever she can to stop the war and make thing better.
For those who love tragic love story, THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU!!!
Hehehe.. Although 2nd half is a bit rubbish, but i think it is quite okay, especially the interaction between these two of them.
