Movie Review: Taken 3

07:43

Today is the first day of Taken 3 showing in Singapore. So Mr. Roar decided to call up his buddies to catch this movie together.

I rushed over to JEMS after my class at 3p.m and catch the 4p.m show.

Okay so here my review goes...

This movie is shows more of the trust and bond between family members and also with the comrades that you have been working for years. They will always be the ones who will stand by you when you are being accused of something you didn't do at all. And they will do whatever they can to help you get out of shit no matter what happened, even if it will get them hurt or trouble.

But you also get to see how someone can make use of you to get wealth. In this case, the step-father of Kim. He may seems like a decent guy to me, but he made used of the wife (Kim's mother) to get the insurance money to be rich.

THE 'GOOD':

In this movie you can tell how the the family is being connected. And you can see a dad will do to make sure of his girl to be safe even if it was to risk his life.
You do see good stunts as well, especially when Bryan ran away to get away from the LAPD. There are definitely some stunts that is quite funny-appealing to me, such as shooting while snatching the gun with someone. LOL..
The most impactful scene is when he drove past and crash through the plane to prevent the bad stepfather to get away.

THE 'BAD':

I would say Taken 2 is more of my cup of tea where you can see how the daughter and the father work together to get things done. Unlike Taken 2, this movie is more of actions for Bryan.
Furthermore, all the good scenes are in the trailer, so it is quite predictable, except for who the bad guy is.

This is definitely a worth-watching movie only if you are into a warm family storyline. If you are into real-action-pack then i think you should check out Taken 2 instead of 3.

Ratings: 3 out of 5
